Are you and your team doing the things that will actually move you forward?
Are you being intentional…Managing your energy… Aligned with what matters most?
Here’s what I’ve learned:
- Effort without intention leads to burnout.
- Effort with clarity?! That’s where performance lives.
- Sustainable success comes from focused action, not frantic activity.
- Motion isn’t the same as momentum – you can be moving constantly and still be stuck in the same place.
- Hustle without purpose is just noise; intention turns effort into progress.
- Sometimes subtraction (removing distractions, commitments, or obligations) is the real accelerator.
- Energy invested in the wrong direction doesn’t compound – alignment matters more than sheer volume.
So how do you tell the difference?!
Ask yourself:
Is what I’m doing moving me closer to the outcome I really care about? Am I spending time… or investing energy? Am I doing this because it’s aligned, or just because it’s expected?
Because “hard work” isn’t always helpful. And “busy” isn’t always better.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do… Is slow down. Zoom out.
And ask: Is this the right kind of effort?!
So today, I want to challenge you to stop measuring your success by how full your schedule is… And start measuring it by how intentional your energy is.
Because effort isn’t just about time or tasks…
Effort is energy. And where your energy goes? Your life goes.
When you focus your effort on what truly matters? That’s when things shift.
That’s when traction happens. That’s when you go from “busy” to breakthrough.
Let’s stop glorifying exhaustion… And start celebrating alignment.
Your energy matters. So make your effort count.
Do you want to feel inspired to step outside of your comfort zone, and see what you are truly capable of achieving? Heather Moyse truly believes that we are all capable of more than we give ourselves credit for, and wants to empower people and organizations in achieving that next level of success.
Using penetrating insight and her own personal experiences, Heather explains how a small shift in the way we look at a situation can significantly change our outcomes.
She is a dynamic speaker, and, using her story to discuss the power of perspective, will leave you and your team feeling inspired, motivated and believing in the possibilities of what you can achieve and the difference you can make.
You have the dream. You have the drive and the dedication. You are well on your way to reaching your pinnacle of success. When, suddenly, something goes wrong. Something changes. You are faced with challenges that are blocking your view of the finish line.
Problems are inevitable in sport, in business, and in life. But when you are faced with change, do you see it as an obstacle blocking your path to success? Or do you embrace it as a challenge and see it as an opportunity?
Heather challenges her audience to embrace those problems. With powerful insight and personal anecdotes of overcoming her own obstacles on route to the top of the Olympic podium, Heather discusses the qualities it takes to move beyond what seemingly stands in our way to achieving our own successes, whatever the arena.
You will leave this presentation ready to embrace change and overcome obstacles. Let the progress begin!
We are faced with thousands of choices on a daily basis – some of them so seemingly insignificant, however, that we often don’t even realize that we are making them. But it is both the big ones and the small ones that shape the story of our lives, and the direction and extent of our successes.
When it comes to the big ones – those critical moments when your choice could turn your life in a completely different direction or even upside down – we often become paralyzed by the fear of not wanting to make the wrong one. And it is an accumulation of the small ones (which are often deemed insignificant) that sometimes make the biggest difference in achieving our goals.
Heather Moyse delivers a dynamic and engaging presentation, using insight, humour, and personal anecdotes to give perspective on the art of decision-making in pursuing your goals while remaining true to yourself.
