Dr. Sam Nutt is a public health specialist and global health expert with more than two decades of experience working with vulnerable children throughout the world, as Founder and President of War Child Canada/USA. A medical doctor, staff physician at Women’s College Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, she holds a Master of Science in Public Health (with distinction) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and completed her medical specialization in public health with a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). A bestselling author on global affairs, she is also a recipient of both the Order of Ontario and the Order of Canada for her work to advance the health and human rights of women and children.
