In her keynote, Solange shares her remarkable personal story. She describes growing up in a tent with her family, constantly moving from country to country. Despite the challenges, she found gratitude in small moments and held onto her dream.

Even after resettling in Canada, Solange continued to face difficulties. She struggled to make friends but persevered to become captain of her soccer team, leading them to multiple championships. This early experience shaped her leadership capabilities.

Later in life, Solange unexpectedly found herself competing in beauty pageants. Though initially terrified, she drew strength from the desire to share her story. She went on to win Miss New Brunswick and Miss Canada International, becoming a UNICEF Ambassador.

Solange then started a family, but faced profound loss with the death of her newborn daughter. This tragedy deepened her resilience and commitment to leading with empathy. As she put it, “You were not required to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.

Despite her trials, Solange has raised millions for children’s education and aid. She is driven by a mission to create inclusive leadership and uplift marginalized voices. Her keynote was a testament to the power of the human spirit.

Solange’s story reminds us that light can emerge from even the darkest places. With compassion and love, we all have the power to transform adversity into positive change. Her keynote invites us to lead with empathy and create a better world.
