The Power of Place: Having your next event in Toronto, Canada and looking for Speakers?

By Theresa Beenken, CEO

The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) brought their Executive Leadership Forum to Toronto, Canada in 2024.  I was pleased to attend on behalf of our bureau.  This post-event review by an association leader showcases how aligning your content with your location helps amplify the impact.

“Having access to thought leaders with demonstrable depth, and high cultural IQ is another invaluable factor that speaks to the power of place. Toronto has a unique DNA, a city that genuinely thrives on curiosity and new connections. This too provides the safe space needed to engage in conversations around inclusive leadership through potentially divisive times.”

The article encourages event planners to consider the Power of Place, when choosing an event destination, especially if the culture can align with your content.

We were so proud to have NSB/GSA speakers Jesse Wente and David Allison to help lead critical thinking and paradigm shifts for the recent ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership Executive Leadership Forum, here in TORONTO!
