Paul Klein is considered a pioneer in the areas of corporate responsibility and community investment. Paul is a frequent guest lecturer on corporate responsibility, writes a blog and hosts a video series for Canadian Business about corporate responsibility as well as sits on the Advisory Board of the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at Queen's School of Business. He has also written numerous articles on the subject for publications across North America.
In 2001, Klein launched Impakt, a social enterprise that works with corporations and non-profits to increase the performance of community investment programs. Paul's work with corporations includes helping clients such as BC Hydro, The Co-operators, De Beers, Hain-Celestial, Husky Injection Molding Systems, Hydro Ottawa, McKesson, National Bank, Petro-Canada, Pfizer, RONA, sanofi-aventis, and 3M to improve the business value of this increasingly important aspect of their business. Paul has also helped many of Canada's leading non-profit organizations to increase profile and revenue through partnership with corporations. His non-profit clients include: Kidney Foundation of Canada, Ontario Veterinary College, Toronto's Ronald McDonald House, the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, and the YMCA.
