Summary Profile

Grant Roberts, one of Hollywood's most sought after trainers, nutritionists and lifestyle coaches, gained worldwide notoriety after preparing actress Hilary Swank for her Academy Award winning role in "Million Dollar Baby." Her sculpted physique was a critical component in making the film realistic and under his guidance Swank gained over twenty pounds of lean muscle mass in just nine weeks, convincingly acquiring the form and function of a prize-fighter.

Roberts has dedicated his life to health and fitness. He opened his first fitness center when he was 17 and won a National Heavyweight Bodybuilding Championship as a 19-year-old. In an unfortunate turn of events, Roberts was forced to add rehabilitative therapies to his repertoire. At the age of 26 he was involved in a serious car accident that left him little chance to survive, let alone return to professional athletics.

Roberts took on the task of rehabilitation primarily alone. After nearly a decade of corrective surgeries and persistence he returned to national strength and bodybuilding events.

The incident led Roberts to the discovery of new comprehensive conditioning methods that are the foundation of his Unified Lifestyle (UL) system and book, The Unified Lifestyle Revolution. The UL provides a tested and proven road map of Roberts' theories for individuals to adopt and tailor to their own specific needs.

Roberts' global initiatives include: Healthy and Fit Communities (HFC) and Healthy Student Bodies (HSB). HFC is a program that encourages communities to get active, influence others and adopt a sustainable healthy lifestyle through the UL. HSB is a program that provides scientific-based information, strategies and programs to empower teachers, students, families and communities and illustrates the power of exercise as an academic primer promoting the development of equally strong bodies and minds.

Roberts' encourages everyone to become adopt the mentality of an everyday athlete.  An athlete is defined as a person possessing the strength, agility, endurance and intellectual skills to perform in a competitive context. He believes these attributes are the keys to achieving success in everyday life.

Today Roberts' clients include the Hollywood elite and leaders of industry, world champion athletes and governments around the world. He also co-starred alongside Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman in Clint Eastwood's film, "Invictus." Roberts plays an all-star South African rugby player in the film chronicling Nelson Mandela's release from prison and unifying South Africa through the power of sport.
