A mentor for thousands this woman is an accomplished author of two books, Reality is Over-Rated and That Which Doesn't Kill you Makes You funnier. Nominate twice for the National Magazine Award for Humor in 2009, and in 2010. A well known playwright she has been nominated for a Governor General Award for her play Miracle Mother in 1984, this woman has written and performed countless hours on TV.

With a special interest in women's groups, education and health care. Kimmett released a compassionate and humorous video called Talking To Sick People (or Walk a Mile in My Backless Gown) and conducts regular webinars called Laugh and Lunch.
