Dave Rodney is one of the few people in world history to successfully summit Mt. Everest TWICE, in 1999 and 2001, and return alive to tell the tale. His accomplishment is inspiring to many: he was born on the flatlands of North America, has survived four knee surgeries and has broken his back in four places! Dave is much more than just a climber and speaker. He has also earned a number of degrees, worked in third world countries and built his own business - without stopping his education, writing, and documentary work. Dave, most recently, was awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medallion in recognition of his work in community service.
