 Beverly Behan, the founder of Board Advisor consults with Boards of Directors in the United States, Canada and internationally over the past decade. She was recently named to the Directorship 100 - Directorship magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in governance and the boardroom.

Beverly is a regular columnist for BusinessWeek.com's The Boardroom and co-author of Building Better Boards: A Blueprint for Effective Governance (Jossey-Bass, 2005), and  Jumping Ship: How to navigate your way to a more satisfying job or career. Her latest book is Great Companies Deserve Great Boards.

Beverly Behan holds both LL.B. and M.B.A. degrees. She is a consultant with Mercer Delta's New York office specializing in corporate governance and executive compensation.

Beverly is a frequent speaker and writer on corporate governance and executive compensation topics.  In addition to 5 years' experience in corporate management, Beverly practiced law for over 5 years with two major Canadian firms and serves as a member of the Policy Committee of the Board of the Royal Ontario Museum.
