
There's no doubt that 2009 saw some of the most important news stories of the decade. But when asked to choose, one in three Canadians (31%) felt the Barack Obama swearing in was the biggest story in 2009. Coming in a close second and third was the H1N1 flu pandemic (26%) and the economic recession (22%).
