Canada recently celebrated its 142nd birthday, and while our country is still very young compared to the rest of the world, our Canadian pride is strong. A great source of that are our top Olympic athletes, especially our gold medalists, who have demonstrated their abilities to be the best in the world. Consider these top Olympians at your next event and inject a little Canadian pride! 
Cassie Campbell - 2002 Winter Olympic Women's Hockey Gold Medalist
As captain of Canada's women's hockey team, Cassie Campbell led her team to Canada's first gold medal win in hockey at the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
Adam Kreek - Rower and Olympic Gold Medalist
Adam Kreek won gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a member of the Men's eight rowing team. Kreek stood out from the pack and captured the hearts of Canadians that day with his powerful and proud rendition of O Canada at the medal podium.
Adam van Koeverden - Triple Olympic Medalist
At the 2008 Summer Olympics Adam van Koeverden proudly carried the Canadian flag during the opening ceremonies. That year he proved to be a triple threat with three Olympic medal wins - gold, silver and bronze - and solidifying himself as one of the best kayakers in the world. 
Chantal Petitclerc - Paralympic Champion and World Record Holder
Chantal Petitclerc has not let anything get in the way of victory. She is the best female wheelchair racer in the world, holding a record number of medals including; 14 gold, five silver and two bronze.
Clara Hughes - Summer and Winter Olympic Medalist
Clara Hughes is the only Canadian to win medals at both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She first competed on the Olympic stage in the Summer games as a cyclist, where she won two bronze medals. Then returned to her first sporting love - speed skating, where she was able to win gold at the 2006 Games in Torino.
Simon Whitfield - Olympic Triathlon Gold Medalist
Simon Whitfield, a triathlete, has surprised his competitors and Canadian fans not once, but twice with his amazing 'back of the pack' finish to win Olympic medals in both Beijing and Sydney.
