Silken Laumann
A champion rower, Silken Laumann demonstrated just how resilient we all are - if we have the right attitude. Just 10 weeks from the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Laumann suffered a devastating training accident that many believed would be the end of her rowing career. Not letting the injury defeat her, Laumann became the greatest comeback Canadian in sports history when she won an Olympic medal that year.

Vince Poscente
At the age of 26, Vince Poscente set a goal for himself - to be the best speed-skier he could be. Despite having no previous racing experience, Poscente's determination won him a spot in the Olympics just four years later. That challenge taught him about focus, commitment and how speed plays into our lives. These are the lessons he's carried over into his successful business career and shares with audiences world-wide.

Chantal Petitclerc
A true inspiration, Chantal Petitclerc is the best Paralympic wheelchair racer in the world. However, this multi-medal winner faced the toughest challenge of all when she became a paraplegic at the age of 13. Not being one to let her disability overcome her, Petitclerc set out on a mission of success. Her hard work and determination has paid off. She has won 21 medals throughout her racing career, spanning five Paralympic games.
