Brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger pulled off another highly successful National Me to We Day, this time spread across two Canadian cities, Toronto and Hamilton. The event brought 8,000 screaming teens from schools all across Canada under one roof for a day filled with excitement, energy and inspiration. The event was both a rock concert and a motivational platform with a long list of presenters.
In Toronto, actor and activist Mia Farrow was the first to address the young crowd, followed by Oprah's Big Give host Nate Berkus, and Canadian Idol host Ben Mulroney. Musical performances included Sarah McLachlan and Crash Parallel. While in Hamilton, audiences were captivated by Olympian Mark Tewksbury and astronaut Dave Williams. NSB staff members attended both events, and were proud to see their speakers, Mulroney, Tewksbury and Williams touch so many lives.
